We have just completed a target user study which surveyed migrant women around the country to find out what their online habits are. We found some pretty interesting results indicating distinct differences of migrant women’s web usage patterns in comparison to the rest of the population.
This study is conducted in preparation for our new online platform for migrant women. Currently, most media for women target the middle-class and the needs of migrant women are often neglected. Our website which will launch early/ mid-2014 will aim to fill this gap. The site will carry articles that promote a healthy body image, further gender equality and empower working-class women.
The following is a summary of the study.
